Understanding the Funding

The 2026 Bond package total project value for all projects is roughly $102 million: $75 million funded locally, which unlocks $27.4 million in matching state dollars.

The information below describes Grant Elementary’s portion of the total project funds.

If approved by voters, $34 million of the approximately $47 million Grant Elementary total project cost would be generated by local tax dollars (“Local Share”).

Roughly $11.8 million would come from state matching funds from the School Construction Assistance Program (State Funds).

A pie chart shows the distribution of funds, with a section representing Washington state.

This pie chart shows the percentage of state matching funds the district could receive if voters approve the 2026 Bond package.
