Community Engagement Board
Community Engagement Board
The Ephrata School District’s Community Engagement Board (CEB) brings together students, families and community members to support improved school attendance and student success. This collaborative approach connects families with new ideas, resources and support systems designed to help students stay engaged in school.
The Community Engagement Board:
- Partners with students and families to identify barriers to attendance and connect them with helpful resources and services..
- Serves as a bridge between students, families and the broader community.
- Provides a safe, supportive space for students to openly share challenges related to attendance.
- Works alongside local partners, volunteers, district staff and juvenile court to address ongoing attendance concerns.
- Focuses on problem-solving and early intervention to help students succeed.
The Community Engagement Board is a key part of the truancy process and is recognized by state law as a preferred approach for supporting students and improving attendance.
