What is Bark Parent Portal?
Parent Portal is a free feature of Bark for Schools that lets administrators share certain alerts with parents and guardians — helping ensure important alerts are seen and acted on even when school staff aren't available, like evenings, weekends, and school breaks. Bark for Schools monitors the student’s school account and sends alerts for potential unsafe activities such as self-harm, bullying or violence.
How do I enroll?
- As a parent or guardian, ensure your email is accurate in Skyward
- Look for the email invitation this fall
- Utilize the help articles at ephrataschools.org/bark
Parents who create their account then automatically receive alerts for their child. If setup is not completed immediately, reminder emails are sent weekly unless the user unsubscribes from the invitation.
