Ephrata School District Dedicates EMS Courtyard in Honor of Travis Eloff's Legacy of Inclusion

On Friday, May 8, the Ephrata School District dedicated the Ephrata Middle School Courtyard in memory of Travis Eloff, a dedicated teacher and Special Education Director who served Ephrata Schools for 31 years.
Family members, coworkers and community members gathered Friday afternoon to honor Travis’s legacy and the lasting impact he made on generations of students and families.
Throughout his career, Travis believed that special education is not a place, but rather a service, commitment and belief that every child can succeed. Through his leadership and compassion, he helped build programs that fostered inclusion, empowered educators and ensured students were seen, supported and valued.
The courtyard now stands as a reflection of that life’s work. It is a space designed to promote inclusion, connection and belonging for all students.
Thank you, Travis, for the difference you made in Ephrata Schools.
