The Ephrata School District will also take steps to assure that national origin persons who lack English language skills can participate in all education programs, services and activities. Gender Inclusive Schools

The Ephrata School District Board of Directors believes in fostering an educational environment that is safe and free of discrimination for all students, regardless of gender expression, gender identity or sex. The Board recognizes the importance of an inclusive approach toward transgender students with regard to official records, confidential health and education information, communication, restroom and locker accessibility, sports and physical education, dress codes and other school activities, in order to provide these students with an equal opportunity for learning and achievement.

Non Discrimination in Career and Technical Education (CTE)

The Ephrata School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national origin, disability or age in its program or activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups.

The Ephrata School District offers classes in many career and technical education program areas (including agriculture, architecture & construction, aviation, business & marketing, culinary classes, education & training, fashion & design, health science, information technology, multimedia arts, welding & manufacturing, etc.) under its open admissions policy.
