Superintendent Message to the Community: November 26

Tiger Community: As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to express my deep gratitude for our students, families, staff and this incredible Ephrata community. Every day, I’m reminded of how fortunate I am to work alongside people who consistently show up for KIDS and their LEARNING.

The Thanksgiving season invites us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the many bright spots in our district—students who care for one another, educators committed to high-quality instruction, and families who partner with us in meaningful ways. Thank you for being such an essential part of what makes Ephrata special.

As we shift into the break, I hope you each find time to rest, reconnect, and recharge. Students will return to school on Monday, December 1st, and the three weeks that follow are incredibly important. This short stretch between Thanksgiving and winter break is one of the most significant learning windows of the entire year. Strong attendance, steady routines, and focused effort during this time can make a real difference for students academically and socially.

We look forward to welcoming our students back, ready to finish the calendar year strong. Thank you for your continued support and for partnering with us to ensure our kids have every opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

Wishing you a peaceful and joyful Thanksgiving.

TIGER PRIDE TODAY! TIGER PRIDE ALWAYS!
