Tiger Community: Last week’s online threats and the resulting school closure reminded us of the challenges we hope never to face again. Yet, even in these unsettling moments, we witnessed the very best of what makes Ephrata extraordinary.

Your quick actions—seeing something suspicious and immediately letting us know—played a vital role in ensuring the safety of our schools. Whether you called or emailed someone in the district, sent screenshots on social media or used our anonymous reporting tool, your vigilance demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our community. THANK YOU for stepping up and sharing critical information when it mattered most.

These events, though stressful, reaffirmed what it means to be part of this incredible community. From the professionalism and care shown by our staff to the resilience and support offered by families, students and Ephrata Police Department, Ephrata continues to stand united in the face of adversity.

While the threats were deemed a hoax, the disruption and stress were real. Please know that every effort you made, big or small, contributed to keeping our schools safe and our students supported. Your actions strengthened the fabric of our community, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.

Let’s continue to stay vigilant. If you see something unusual, concerning, or out of place—report it. Every voice matters in protecting our students, staff and schools. Together, we’ll rise above any challenge, embodying the resilience, strength and TIGER PRIDE that define us.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Ephrata Schools.
