Superintendent Community Message: November 1
Tiger Community: Today marks the last day of 1st Quarter, and what a whirlwind of amazing opportunities and learnings our staff and students have experienced together. From athletic fields, to classrooms, to gyms, to shops, whether it was a success or a failure we experienced, we have learned and grown.
As we transition into November, an exciting lineup of events and opportunities for our Tiger Community is on the horizon.
I want to start by inviting you to join us for Parent-Teacher Conferences at each of our K-12 schools next week on Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7. These conferences are a great chance to connect with teachers, discuss student progress and partner with us to support each child’s learning journey. If you haven’t made arrangements to attend one of these conferences, please plan to do so. Also, don’t forget, all schools will release early on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
I’m also thrilled to share that Ephrata High School’s Cabaret is set to return November 14-16 and 23-24. Don’t miss your chance to support our extremely talented musicians and vocalists. They’ve put in countless hours of preparation, and their hard work always shines when they take the stage. This is always an event worth attending, so mark your calendars! Tickets are on sale now at EphrataTigers.com.
As we look ahead to Thanksgiving, please note that break begins following an early release on November 27 and continues through December 1. This time is well-deserved for our Tiger Community, allowing everyone a moment to recharge, spend time together and reflect on those things for which they are thankful.
Finally, congratulations to our band and choir students for the excellent concerts they put on this week and last. They did a tremendous job! Also, best wishes to all our fall sports athletes wrapping up their seasons and to those heading into district, regional and state competitions. They have represented Ephrata with commitment and Tiger Pride and I know that our community is proud of them and are behind them all the way!
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to Ephrata Schools and our students.
