Superintendent Community Message: December 6
Dear Tiger Community:
The holiday season is a time to reflect on what matters most, and for me, that’s family. Our school community is like an extended family, and I’m reminded daily of the role we all play in supporting our students to grow, learn and thrive. Your involvement and encouragement create the foundation for their success, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
This time of year also brings the joy of music, creativity and celebration. I invite you to join us for our upcoming winter programs as our talented students showcase their hard work and artistic gifts:
Monday, 12/16: EHS, EMS, and Parkway Band Concert – 7 p.m. (EMS Gym)
Tuesday, 12/17: Columbia Ridge Winter Program – 9:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. (Columbia Ridge Gym)
Wednesday, 12/18: EHS, EMS Choir Concert – 7 p.m., (EHS PAC Gym)
Thursday, 12/19: Grant Elementary Winter Program – 9:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. (EHS PAC Gym)
Friday, 12/20: Parkway Intermediate Winter Program – 9:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. (Parkway Intermediate Gym)
These wonderful opportunities are funded by local levy dollars and I want to highlight an important upcoming date tied to our local levy: February 11, 2025. On this day, Ephrata Schools will place a renewal levy on the ballot. This levy provides the funding to maintain the programs and services that enrich our students’ education. To learn more about what this levy funds and how it impacts our schools, visit TigersVote.org.
Thank you for your continued support and for making Ephrata Schools a place of excellence and belonging. I wish you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful holiday season.
With gratitude,
Ken Murray
