Thank You Ephrata School Board

January is School Board Recognition Month. This is a time to show our appreciation to our elected School Board of Directors for dedicating their time to leading our schools. In Ephrata, our School Board members have more than 65 years of combined service to our community. They are: Jim Adams, Bill Correll, Alan Key, Josh Sainsbury and Anita Waller.

The Ephrata School Board plays an important role in ensuring local control over our schools, control that is in the hands of people our community knows - people that are our neighbors. They are our connection to influencing how our schools are governed and they spend countless hours understanding the important details before making any given decision that impacts Ephrata Schools.

School Board members have one of the most important volunteer jobs in the country - guiding our nation’s schools. They serve as advocates for students and are responsible for communicating the needs of our district to the public and providing the district with the public’s expectations. This can be a tough and thankless job. It’s time we thank them for their untiring efforts.

Please join the students, staff and leadership of Ephrata Schools to thank Jim, Bill, Alan, Josh and Anita for the invaluable service they provide our district and our community.
