Remind
What is Remind?
Remind is a classroom communication tool that makes it easy to stay involved with your child's learning. It's free to use and makes it easy to stay involved with your child's learning. With Remind, you'll be able to get and send messages on any device—even a simple text message from your phone!
Official accounts have been created for all the students, parents and educators at Ephrata Lake School District. Keep an eye on your email for an invitation and login instructions (if you have an email in Skyward). If your child’s teacher uses Remind, you may also receive a text or email to join their Remind class.
I’m a Student
As a student at EMS or EHS, you will be automatically enrolled, and receive communication from each of your teachers that use Remind. All communication will be sent to your @ephrataschools.org email address. If you are over 13, and have your parent’s/guardian’s permission, you may add a cell phone number to your account, to receive text messages from your teachers. You can respond directly to these messages to talk back and forth with your teacher, if your teacher allows this for their class.
Your Remind account also provides you with emergency alerts from your school. These alerts will be used to communicate weather delays, school closures or other emergency situations.
I’m a Parent/Guardian
As a parent/guardian of a student or students in the Ephrata School District, you will be automatically enrolled and receive communication from each of your student(s) teachers. All communication will be sent to you via the email or phone number you selected when you completed back-to-school forms in the Fall. To learn more about how to use Remind or to change your communication preferences, watch this brief video: Getting Started with Remind.
The Ephrata School District and your student(s) school(s) will also send you alerts in the event of weather delays, school closures or other emergency situations.
Please make sure to keep your information up-to-date and set your preferred language to ensure you receive the latest communication in the language you read. To stop receiving notifications at any time, text STOP in response to a school message. NOTE: You will still receive emergency notifications from our schools and District even if you stop messaging from a teacher or teachers.
